By becoming a member, you will join a coalition of youth-service providers who are passionate about making a difference in San Francisco. As a member, you will have access to information, resources, and be invited to a variety of different meetings and events.
The only requirement is that you work in the field of youth development. Our coalition is made up of a variety of folks who serve in different positions in the field including direct service providers, Executive Directors, Program Managers, and more. The majority of our members are also DCYF grantees but this is not a requirement and we highly encourage folks who are not current grantees to join.
No! It is 100% free to join and your organization will not be asked or expected to contribute financially to our group at any time.
No! There are multiple levels of engagement in which you can participate in the SPWG but simply signing up to become a member does not commit you to anything. When you sign-up to become a member, you will be added to our mailing list so that you can engage with us at your own pace.
We share information, trainings, and resources pertaining to a variety of topics including capacity building, local legislative updates, grant opportunities, city commission hearings, budget updates, and more.
Anyone! Our goal is for our membership to represent the wide variety of positions at youth-serving organizations. Our meetings are open to all, as we want to ensure needs at all levels of your organization are being elevated and addressed.
